Puccini's Turandot San Jose Theatre reviews
My bucketlist
"How do you describe the quintessential performer who brought the audience on stage with him, interacting and explaining his memories of John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix? Puccini's Turandot was just amazing. He did not sound like a 70 something holding on to faint memories, he was young and intent on giving a new generation new memories to last not just for one night but for a life time. He was such the opposite of those self absorbed narcissistic bands we hear about today. Thanks Paul for a night I will remember forever. He is not hung up on just getting it done but getting it done the right way. He basically memorized Sgt Peppers in 2 days after it came out and performed it at his concert in London with Paul and the boys attending, true admiration."
